Hi VivaciousPenguin66 , you are correct - if you do not specify --docker
, the agent will run tasks in a Python virtual environment and will ignore any base docker image specification in the clearml.conf
file or in the task itself

Silly question alert......
Really simple one to start with.
If I have the more or less the default settings for a clearml-agent on a compute node, so therefore using PIP as the package installer and executing with the command clearml-agent daemon --queue GPU_CU111 then am I correct in thinking that this executes a python environment in a virtual environment on the compute node, when a task is pushed to that queue?
It is not running docker mode? Or has anything to do with the base docker image specification in the clearml.conf on the compute node?
