Hi, Can We Search Tasks Using Wildcard In The Webapp. Say I Have Task Names

Hi, can we search tasks using wildcard in the webapp. Say I have task names exp_test1_i1 , exp_test2_i1 and I'd like to search for "exp" and "i1". Is that possible in the search box?

Hi SarcasticSparrow10 ,
So the bad news is the UI is actually escaping the query, so you cannot search regexp from the UI. The good news, you can do achieve that from python:
from trains import Task tasks = Task._query_tasks(task_name='exp.*i1')

Hi SarcasticSparrow10
I think the default search is any partial match, let me check if there is a way to do some regexp / wildcard

Hi AgitatedDove14 Thanks for checking. I would like to compare several experiments (plots, hyperparams, etc), so it would have to been nice to do it in the UI. I have to search through the long list right now. With python, I can only do few of the things that I intend to do. Is this something that might be added in the future?

Yes, actually the first step would be a toggle button for regexp in the search, the second will be even more advanced search.
May I suggest you post it on the UI suggestion issue https://github.com/allegroai/trains/issues/81 ?
