Hi Everyone, I'M Trying To Run Some Integration Tests With Clearml Through A Github Self Hosted Runner, But I Keep Getting This Error:

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to run some integration tests with ClearML through a Github self hosted runner, but I keep getting this error:

clearml.backend_api.session.defs.MissingConfigError: It seems ClearML is not configured on this machine!

The machine the self hosted runner is running on has a valid clearml.conf in the home directory, and if I run the clearml-init command via the runner I get the following:

ClearML SDK setup process
Configuration file already exists: /home/user/clearml.conf
Leaving setup, feel free to edit the configuration file.

Has anyone got any ideas as to whats causing this error? 🤔

What's the contents of the clearml.conf file? Perhaps the values are empty there?

Hi @<1625666182751195136:profile|MysteriousParrot48> , I can only assume that the runner sets $HOME to a different folder than the one visible to clearml-init when initializing. Try to set CLEARML_CONFIG_FILE=/home/user/clearml.conf and see if it helps

Hi Jake, thanks for the reply 🙂 Unfortunately that didnt work, I also tried setting the required config directly through environment variables but also no luck with that
