Hi everyone,
I'm trying to run some integration tests with ClearML through a Github self hosted runner, but I keep getting this error:
clearml.backend_api.session.defs.MissingConfigError: It seems ClearML is not configured on this machine!
The machine the self hosted runner is running on has a valid clearml.conf in the home directory, and if I run the clearml-init command via the runner I get the following:
ClearML SDK setup process
Configuration file already exists: /home/user/clearml.conf
Leaving setup, feel free to edit the configuration file.
Has anyone got any ideas as to whats causing this error? 🤔
Hi Jake, thanks for the reply 🙂 Unfortunately that didnt work, I also tried setting the required config directly through environment variables but also no luck with that
What's the contents of the clearml.conf file? Perhaps the values are empty there?
Hi MysteriousParrot48 , I can only assume that the runner sets $HOME to a different folder than the one visible to clearml-init when initializing. Try to set CLEARML_CONFIG_FILE=/home/user/clearml.conf and see if it helps
