I think that by default debug samples are usually saved on the fileserver. The following configuration should force the debug samples to upload to s3.
In clearml.conf change:
api.files_server: s3://your_bucket

Your suggestion CostlyOstrich36 works: I’ve added the line in the clearml.conf file.

I’m getting this error:
2022-04-01 16:23:47,578 - clearml.storage - ERROR - Failed testing access to bucket xxx: incorrect region specified for bucket xxxx (detected region eu-west-1)but the server knows how to do the upload because I can do task.upload_artifact without problems 🤔

I was on 1.2.0
Upgrading to 1.3.0 resolved the issue with S3 credentials request 🙂
