So that's the issue - the docker-compose.yml assumes everything resides in /opt/trains , not in your home folder

Posted 4 years ago

Oh, yes, it seems they are

Posted 4 years ago

What about the UID for epdadmin user? 'id -u epdadmin'

Posted 4 years ago

I used docker-compose up and another one i can find if i look for it

Posted 4 years ago

WobblyCrab70 what command are you using to start the docker-compose?

Posted 4 years ago

I will use whatever command you tell me and write it down forever

Posted 4 years ago

Can you try doing sudo docker-compose up ?

Posted 4 years ago

epdadmin@epdadmin-desktop:~$ id -u epdadmin
1000

Are the errors in the elastic log the same? (it's hard to see in your pasted log)

Posted 4 years ago

and all the paths are in /opt/trains/... ?

Posted 4 years ago

Starting trains-elastic ... done

Posted 4 years ago

just to make sure you have the folders set up right

Posted 4 years ago

I'll have to check later 🙂 thanks a lot

Posted 4 years ago

I'd do the setup process again (i.e. mkdir etc.)

Posted 4 years ago

cp -rf ?

Posted 4 years ago

It starts like this:
WARNING: The TRAINS_HOST_IP variable is not set. Defaulting to a blank string. WARNING: The TRAINS_AGENT_GIT_USER variable is not set. Defaulting to a blank string. WARNING: The TRAINS_AGENT_GIT_PASS variable is not set. Defaulting to a blank string. Starting trains-elastic ... Starting trains-mongo ... Starting trains-fileserver ... Starting trains-redis ...

Posted 4 years ago

even though i have configured the WARNINGS as the guide told me

Posted 4 years ago

I am getting these errors infinitely

Posted 4 years ago

Posted 4 years ago
