662 × Eureka!I tried that, unfortunately it does not help π
We're using self hosted account
Great to hear @<1523701087100473344:profile|SuccessfulKoala55> ! Is there an estimated timeline for these releases?
I'll see if we can do that still (as the queue name suggests, this was a POC, so I'm trying to fix things before they give up π ).
Any other thoughts? The original thread https://clearml.slack.com/archives/CTK20V944/p1641490355015400 suggests this PR solved the issue
I wouldn't mind going the requests
route if I could find the API end point from the SDK?
I can navigate through the projects, but selecting one task in one project, then navigating to another project and selecting a different task -> there is no suggestion to compare the tasks.
In the projects page if I show all - I just see the projects. If I search for a task of similar name, I get results, but I can't compare them via the UI.
The only way I managed so far was to create a pseudo-comparison between unrelated tasks in the same project, then remove one task from comparion, and u...
Ultimately we're trying to avoid docker in AWS autoscaler (virtualization on top of virtualization seems redundant), and instead we maintain an AMI for a faster boot sequence.
We had no issues when we used pip
, but now when trying to work with poetry
all these issues came up.
The way I understand poetry
to work, is that it is expected there is one system-wide installation that is used for virtual environment creation and manipulation. So at least it may be desired that the ...
We're not using the docker setup though. The CLI run by the autoscaler is python -m clearml_agent --config-file /root/clearml.conf daemon --queue aws_small
, so no docker
Or to be clear, the environment installed by the autoscaler under /clearml_agent_venv
has poetry installed, and it uses that to set up the environment for the executed task, e.g. in root/.clearml/venvs-builds/3.10/task_repository/.../.venv
, but the latter does not have poetry installed, and so it crashes?
Created this for follow up, SuccessfulKoala55 ; I'm really stumped. Spent the entire day on this π₯Ή

I'll try that in a bit (that requires some access control changes). Any idea how can I modify the dynamically created virtualenv?
` Poetry Enabled: Ignoring requested python packages, using repository poetry lock file!
The currently activated Python version 3.10.6 is not supported by the project (~3.8.0).
Trying to find and use a compatible version.
Using python3.8 (3.8.16)
Creating virtualenv ... in /root/.clearml/venvs-builds/3.10/task_repository/...git/.venv
Installing dependencies from ...
Sure SuccessfulKoala55 , and thanks for looking into it.
As an alternative (for now, or in general), we could consider reverting back to pip. The issue we encounter is that we have a monorepo, so frozen requirements should specify relative paths, but pip freeze
does not seem to do that, so ClearML also fails in pip
mode
Either one would be nice to have. I kinda like the instant search option, but could live with an ENTER to search.
I opened this meanwhile - https://github.com/allegroai/clearml-server/issues/138
Generally, it would also be good if the pop-up presented some hints about what went wrong with fetching the experiments. Here, I know the pattern is incomplete and invalid. A less advanced user might not understand what's up.
I'm not entirely sure I understand the flow but I'll give it a go. I have two final questions:
This seems to only work for a single file (weights_path implies a single file, not multiple ones). Is that the case? Why do you see this as preferred to the dataset method we have now? π€
Ah, uhhhh whatever is in the helm/glue charts. I think itβs the allegroai/clearml-agent-k8s-base
, but since I hadnβt gotten a chance to try it out, itβs hard to say with certainty which would be the best for us π
You don't even need to set the CLEARML_WORKER_ID, it will automatically assign one based on the machine's name
So no direct page to see e.g. how many people have registered and/or if someone accidentally made two (or more) accounts, or somewhere to just delete users, etc
When is the next release expected? π
Is there a way to specify that flag within the config file, SuccessfulKoala55 ?
Yes, you're correct, I misread the exception.
Maybe it hasn't completed uploading? At least for Datasets one needs to explicitly wait IIRC
At any case, if we were upgrading from e.g. 4.0.0 to 4.1.2, this shouldn't have happened?
The odd thing is that it was already defined, and then when I clicked an S3 link, it asked me to fill it in again, adding a duplicate credentials row
Thanks! That's what I thought, but then I get2021-12-21 22:08:35,376 - clearml.storage - ERROR - Failed uploading: Parameter validation failed: Invalid bucket name "": Bucket name must match the regex "^[a-zA-Z0-9.\-_]{1,255}$" or be an ARN matching the regex "^arn:(aws).*:(s3|s3-object-lambda):[a-z\-0-9]*:[0-9]{12}:accesspoint[/:][a-zA-Z0-9\-.]{1,63}$|^arn:(aws).*:s3-outposts:[a-z\-0-9]+:[0-9]{12}:outpost[/:][a-zA-Z0-9\-]{1,63}[/:]accesspoint[/:][a-zA-Z0-9\-]{1,63}$"
AgitatedDove14 another option I thought would be nice is to actually self-sign the internal MinIO bucket, but then I get[SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: self signed certificate (_ssl.c:1076)
Are you aware of any other way then (other than the secure: false
flag?
That would be nice :)
One last MinIO-related question (sorry for the long thread!)
While I do have the access and secret defined in clearml.conf, and even in the WebUI, I still get similar warnings as David does here - https://clearml.slack.com/archives/CTK20V944/p1640135359125200
Thanks Alon. In the full/official documentation the clearml-data
CLI is not mentioned anywhere, so perhaps it should be refreshed π
I think we're referring to different things here.
I won't be using the UI (and neither will my team).
But as mentioned, we've used DVC before and it adds a lot of junk metadata files to each GitHub PR (many dvc.yaml
, dvc.lock
and .gitignore
files). We're trying to avoid that as much as possible, hence my question about GitHub pull...
And yes, our flow would break anyway with the internal references within the yaml file. It would be much simpler if we could specify the additional files
